By when are we having the support for SQL Server 2008 on utility cloud model? Can we use it on SaaSGrid dedicated cloud model?
We are especially looking for Sparse Columns.

Hi Badal,
We already have full support for SQL Server 2008 however our preview environment is only running with SQL Server 2005. You can configure a SaaSGrid instance to support a mixed environment of both 2005 and 2008 but for the time being we have not enabled any 2008 nodes in our preview environment.
In regards to the usage of Sparce Columns our understanding is that they should act exactly like regular columns but they have further restrictions none of which should get in the way of SaaSGrid's schema modifications. You can always send us your schema so that we can verify that it will work with no problems.
