I wanted to chime in on this question and indicate that NHibernate 2 is now fully supported, and there is now a sample that uses it located here:

Hi Gui,

In essence it should be supported but I guess it hasn't been tested and looking at the error that you are getting it is clear why it is not working and unfortunately there is no readily available workaround. We will take a look at it to see if we can find a quick workaround and try to have something in the near future. In the meantime the supported version is 1.2

Is NHIbernate 2.1 supported on SaaSGrid?

First problem I got is that NH 2.1 is using

Iesi.Collections, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=aa95f207798dfdb4

While Apprenda.Utils is using 1.0.0.3

The most interesting thing in NH 2.1 is LINQ support

Also note that NH2.1 adds a new parameter to the config file:

NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle.ProxyFactoryFactory, NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle
